Our involvement with agritourism started when the owner of MVM, Eng. Agro. Afonso Martins finished his master's degree at Pepperdine University in California. With over 20 years working in Rural Extension and Organizational Consulting, established a large network of relationships linked to the agricultural environment, academic and business in Brazil and abroad.
The first tours were made to meet requests for companies and groups who wanted to follow qualified in their technical trips abroad. With personalized itineraries, clear objectives and operational support, they were organized based on technical and educational principles, becoming a major focus of the Company.
Currently, in addition to tours abroad, are offered tours for groups with interest in the multiplicity of technical, educational options and the Brazilian agricultural business.
The scripts that are on this site are just some examples. Our professionals are enabled to design models that meet specific needs in the technical field, business or education.
Agricultural Tour Operators International (ATOI) is an association of professional tour operators specializing in agriculture tourism.
ATOI members, coupled with their knowledge and understanding of the agriculture industry, are in a unique position to design and develop tour products that are tailor-made to clients' specific interests, which may include small-scale family farms, large-scale commercial farms/ranches; and specific commodity interests such as crops or livestock, dairy, forestry, fruit, vegetables, and horticulture, along with conferences and events in the agribusiness sector.
